Early Raya for Darul Bakti orphans
Kota Belud (03 September 2010): MASwings’ Ramadhan visit to Darul Bakti orphanage in Kota Belud today was pleasantly received with smiling faces of 50 children age between 6 to 17 years old, together with its Chairperson and founder, Datin Saidatul Badru Tun Said Keruak.
“It gives MASwings’ great pleasure to be able to contribute back to the community especially to the needy such as the orphanage home Darul Bakti. We have been engaging with the children of Darul Bakti since the 1st day of MASwings’ inception in 2007 by flying them to Lahad Datu followed by occasional visits and we intend to continue with more social activities beneficial to the children” said Mr Mohd Al’freedo of Corporate Communications who represented MASwings Regional Manager of Sabah, Mr Shauqi Ahmad.
Earlier in August, MASwings team led by Managing Director Dato Salleh Tabrani has been on series of Ramadhan visit for breaking of fast with local community, orphans and staff in Sabah and Sarawak. During the Darul Bakti visit, MASwings’ team handed food stuff, praying mate and cash donations to the home. The children comprise of orphans and under privilege were especially happy to receive early Hari Raya packets.
