MASwings Offers Merdeka Value Fares
Kota Kinabalu: In conjunction with “Merdeka” celebration, MASwings is offering discounted fares from as low as RM36 to RM92 for bookings made via the Internet during the promotional period of the “Merdeka Value Fares” promotion.
“Merdeka Value Fares” carries the tagline “Let Us Celebrate Together” is an interesting deal offered during the promotional period from 29 July 2010 until 31 August 2010 for travel period from 02 August till 31 January 2010. MASwings’ customers are able to purchase one-way ticket as low as RM36 for Sibu-Bintulu sector, RM44 for Miri-Labuan sector or RM51 for Kota Kinabalu-Miri sector.
Acting Head of Commercial MASwings, Azlan Awang Tanjong said, this fantastic deal in offered in conjunction with the “Merdeka” celebration. He said, most Malaysians would take a short break especially during “Merdeka” celebration or during other celebrations from now until end of the year and majority of them will plan for a trip to a nearby destination.

“Merdeka Value Fares” is the latest addition to the Internet promotional fares offered by MASwings. It is subject to advanced purchase period, which require passenger to purchase their ticket 05 days, or more in advanced prior to the departure date. Like any other promotional ticket, “Merdeka Value Fares” ticket is non-refundable, non-reroutable, non-endorsable and subject to seat availability. This value for money promotional fare is also applicable reverse directional.
One-way ticket for Kota Kinabalu (KK) and Lahad Datu is priced at RM60, KK- Sandakan (RM45), KK-Bintulu (RM88), KK-Sibu (RM92), KK-Mulu (RM76), KK-Labuan (RM52), KK-Tawau (RM48), KK-Miri (RM51), KK-Kuching (RM87).
One-way ticket for Miri (MYY) and Bintulu is offered at RM40, MYY-Mulu (RM38), MYY-Sibu (RM60), MYY-Limbang (RM40), and MYY-Labuan (RM44).
From Kuching (KCH), MASwings is offering RM66 for a one-way trip to Bintulu or vice-versa, KCH-Sibu (RM42), KCH-MYY (RM66) and KCH-Mulu (RM92).
Other fare offered under this promotional period includes Sandakan-Tawau (RM40), Sibu-Bintulu (RM36) and Sibu-Limbang (RM84).
