MASwings Bringing Added Value In Flight

Kuching/Kota Kinabalu: MASwings today, introduced muffins as additional refreshment on board its flights as part of its drive to enhance its in flight service delivery.

The oven bake muffins come with assorted flavours of blueberry, chocolate, banana and almond vanilla, which could tantalise your taste buds.

The muffins are served together with sandwiches in its current light refreshment menu on all flights with flying hours more than 60 minutes. The routing includes flights from Kuching to Bintulu, Mulu, Miri, from Bintulu to Kota Kinabalu and Sibu to Kota Kinabalu.

In addition, MASwings will also serve muffins on all flights with flying hours more than 50 minutes but less than 1 hour. These routings covers flight from Kota Kinabalu to Tawau, Lahad Datu, Miri and Sandakan as well as from Kuching to Sibu and Miri to Sibu. Previously, MASwings is only serving drinks for destinations less than 1-hour flying time.

MASwings Head of In Flight Services, Encik Mohamad Yunus Ismail said “ In positioning ourselves as a Five Star Value Carrier, we consistently work towards improving our in flight meals standards as well as quality.

“The introduction of muffins on these sectors is in line with our aim to deliver outstanding food and beverage offering and reflects our effort to showcase the true meaning of Malaysian Hospitality to our guests” he said.

“We are also looking at selling MASwings merchandise items on board our flights in the future as part of our in flight service enhancement initiative” he added.

The introduction of muffins on its selected route with flying time less than 50 minutes is part of its initiative to showcase its appreciation to passengers patronising the sectors.
