MASwings announced Weekend Gateway
Miri: MASwings announced that it is offering discounted airfares, on its selected weekend flights, effective 7 November 2009.
The discounted airfares as low as RM28 to RM74 one way, known as Weekend Gateway, represent 70% to 80% off the normal full fares and are available on the following selected routes.

The Weekend Gateway are available for online purchase only at MASwings website. To enjoy the offers, bookings need to be made 2 days in advance. The travel period is from 7 November – 31 December and the maximum stay is 2 days for traveling on Saturday and returning on Monday. Acting Head of Commercial, Azlan A. Tanjong said, “We are offering Weekend Gateway to encourage leisure travels during the weekends. It is also to showcase our appreciation to the local community through offering value-for-money deals.”
MASwings has also offered numerous discounted fares made available via Internet such as the 2nd anniversary promotion fares, Crazee Deal Promotions and advance purchase period on Q fares. Such promotions are an ongoing exercise to help boost travel within Sabah and Sarawak as well as to increase and strengthen the tourism of both national and social integrations.

MASwings commenced its operations on October 1 2007, offers 900 weekly flights, which serves a network of 22 destinations in Sarawak and Sabah as well as the Federal Territory of Labuan. It currently has a fleet of 3 Fokker 50, 4 Twin Otter and 6 ATR aircraft.
