MASwings Statement on Ba’kelalan Incident
Twin Otter Services to be Rescheduled

Kuching: MASwings announced that investigations are already underway in the incident at Ba’kelalan yesterday where its Twin Otter aircraft, flight MH3540, skidded off the runway upon landing.

All 12 passengers and 2 crew onboard are reported safe.

As a result of this incident, MASwings’ weekly capacity for the travelling public on Twin Otter services is reduced by 20%. The existing flight schedules and timings for the Twin Otter services will be revised to ensure minimal disruption to MASwings’ passengers.

MASwings will endeavour to alert customers of the revisions to their flight bookings where their phone contacts or e-mail details are available in their reservation records.

Customers are also advised to check with MASwings offices or their travel agents on the new schedules.
