Kuching: MASwings, a wholly owned subsidiary of Malaysia Airlines, today announced that it is offering Groovy Online Offers in conjunction with the Miri International Jazz Festival.
The Groovy Online Offers is priced at RM39 one way for travel from Bintulu, Sibu, Kota Kinabalu or Labuan to Miri, representing 80% discount off the normal full fares. These fares are available for online purchase only at MASwings website www.maswings.com.my.
To celebrate the launch of Groovy Online Offers, MASwings and Sarawak Tourism Board are offering free entry passes to the Miri International Jazz Festival for the first 50 customers who purchase the fares online.
Dr. Amin Khan said, “We are extremely pleased to collaborate with Sarawak Tourism Board in the promotion of Miri International Jazz Festival - an event aims to be the leading tourism-driven musical festival in the region. This is in line with MASwings objective to revitalize the local economy and tourism industry of Sarawak and Sabah.”

On hand to launch the MASwings’ Groovy Online Offers is Y.B Dato Sri Wong Soon Koh, Minister of Urban Development and Tourism.
MASwings commenced its operations on October 1 2007, offers 660 weekly flights, which serves a network of 22 destinations in Sarawak and Sabah as well as the Federal Territory of Labuan. It currently has a fleet of 7 Fokker 50 and 5 Twin Otter aircraft.
